Cocktail hour, dinner, and the party

Steal My Sets

Every song in these five party sets came off one list: the most requested wedding songs of the past year, pulled from millions of actual requests made through the planning system DJs use. I did not sit down and write my favorites. I went to the data first and then I cut it into sets that work in a real room, in the order a real night runs.

So when you look at one of these and think "really, that one?" the answer is yes, really. Somebody's guests asked for it, over and over, at weddings all year.

Here is the part that matters more. This is what everybody wants. It is not what your people want. There is a song your college roommate will lose her mind over and it is not on this list, because it was never going to be on anybody's top 200. Swap it in. Swap three of them in. These sets are the floor, not the ceiling, and I built them so you would have something solid to change instead of a blank page to stare at.

I know what a room does. Only you know who is standing in it.
